Lifetime Warranty

We make each shade right here in our Vermont Factory to your exact specifications. All our shades are covered by a limited Lifetime Warranty. Check out the details of the Symphony warranty. It covers defects in materials or workmanship for as long as you own the product provided it is measured and installed correctly.

Each shade is manufactured to provide a lifetime of low maintenance service to you. If you need warranty service please e-mail us or call us TOLL FREE at 1-877-887-4239 and we will arrange for a repair or replacement as soon as possible.

Warranty Claim Shipping

Although the Symphony Limited Life Warranty by Comfortex excludes shipping and installation costs, we produce such exceptionally consistent quality that we are able to pay for ground shipping both directions on all warranty work during the first year you own your shades. If you want quicker turnaround, just specify "next day" or "second day" air on your e-mail, and authorize us to charge the difference between that and the cost of ground shipping to your credit card.

Although we are committed to the lowest prices anywhere, we have built our company on service. Free Samples

We cheerfully offer free samples so you can appreciate the beauty of our colors as well as the weight of our fabrics, which means your shades will look better, last longer and provide greater energy efficiency. Just fill out the form and we will ship the samples to you no charge.

Color Accuracy

Although we do our best to portray colors accurately, actual colors will vary. Many colors and subtle textures cannot always be shown on computer monitors, and computer monitors vary. Since all products are custom-made for you, and cannot be returned, if an exact color match is required, then please request free samples before placing your order. Remember also that dye lots may vary slightly between the sample swatch and the product you receive.

Privacy Policy

Any information you give us, stays with us. We respect your privacy and do not rent or trade your name, address, e-mail address, phone number with anyone. You can rest assured that all information you provide, is kept strictly confidential. 

Shipping

All orders are shipped via UPS. We only ship to locations in the United States. Alaska and Hawaii are shipped via Air. Shipping prices are determined by method of shipping (ground, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air) and the number of shades. Packaging and handling costs are included. Shipping becomes significantly less per shade, the more shades ordered.

Each shade is custom-made to your measurements and color choices. When your order is shipped we will send you an email with the UPS tracking information.

Best Price Guarantee

If you find a lower price e-mail or fax us and tell us where you found the lower price. We will verify the lower price and pay you the difference. For example, if you paid SymphonyShades.com $100 for a shade, and found another retailer selling the same shade for $95, we will pay you $5 plus 10% ($.50) for a total of $5.50. Now you can purchase your shades from SymphonyShades.com with the assurance that you have the absolute lowest price on Symphony Shades!

Returns and Exchanges

We custom manufacture each shade to your exact measurements. Since each shade is individually crafted, they are not returnable for any reason except warranty repair. Because of the quick turn around time we offer, there are no cancellations. To avoid problems please follow the above instructions and measure carefully.

Sales Tax

We collect 6% sales tax for orders shipped to Vermont. We collect an additional 1% sales tax for orders shipped to Burlington, Williston, South Burlington, Dover, Manchester and Stratton, Vermont. This additional tax will not show on your order. We will add it to your credit card charge. If you have a question about this please call. We do not charge sales tax for any other states. 

Payment

All our shades are custom made, so we must have payment before we make a shade. We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover. All checks are accepted, but must be cleared by your bank before we will fabricate your shades. If you want to pay by check, we suggest that you use a cashier's check or a certified check. Our shopping cart server is secure and we never send your credit card number via e-mail. What is R-value?

R-Value is primarily used as a measure of comfort in winter and indicates a fabric's ability to reduce the flow of heat through it. The higher the R-value, the better its resistance to heat loss or gain. A double honeycomb cellular shade (like our Symphony line) with its high R-value has superb insulating values which can result in substantial energy savings, year after year. More info on R-Value...

What is Shading Coefficient?

Shading Coefficient is important in hot weather and indicates a fabric's ability to reduce heat flow from the outside through a window shade to inside your home. A shading coefficient of 0.35 means 65% of the heat stays outside. On a hot day, heat coming in through your windows can raise room temperature by 15-20 degrees and make your air conditioning work two to three times harder.
