The Symphony fabric we use, at 30-gm/sq mtr. (Or 40 gms for room darkening) is the heaviest you can buy. Your shades will be more durable, washable and long lasting. Although Symphony Shades are now mostly purchased for their appearance, they were originally designed as industrial strength control of heat loss and gain in greenhouses.(top) |

Best Insulating Fabric. Our Symphony fabric is constructed as a double cell for extra strength and has a sealed front web to offer an incredible 4.6 R factor, (with double glazing) to keep you warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Virtually no other window treatment offers such a high R factor.
Highly Translucent Non-Fading Fabric. Our shades are such great insulators that you will want them down when it is cold or hot out, without darkening your space. Our thin gauge fabric (0.14 mm.) offers all of the above strengths, is non-fading and lets in the most visible light while blocking out virtually 100% of the damaging UV rays. Amazing!

Forget about dusting, our fabric is dust resistant! However, many years from now when you do want to clean your blinds, our light filtering and room darkenign fabrics are fully washable. Reversible Inward Draw, Cord Lock is designed with a Delrin force-distribution bearing on Standard Hardware System.
The Cordlock is designed with a Delrin force-distribution bearing for long cord life by providing a long wearing smooth positive action that will not develop grooves or ridges. You won't be bothered by crooked shades. The Teflon roller takes the pressure off the cord, greatly extending its life. The cord lock operates with an inward draw so you can operate your blind easily, even when inside mounted or where outside obstructions exist. You can easily change the side the cord lock is located on. Cord locks are the main cause of repairs, so this is very important product strength. (top) |
