If you’re a window shade owner, over time your shade’s clutch or a string may break. It happens whether you purchased this shade from a local dealer or from us. If this happens to you, don’t worry! All shades that have been purchase from SymphonyShades.com come with a 10 year warranty, this covers normal wear and tear. If you haven’t had an opportunity to check out the warranty details, we encourage you to do so.
If you didn’t purchase your shades from us, we do provide our customers with repair services. However, we recommend that you try and bring your shade to its original manufacturer first. We know that this isn’t always possible, so that’s why we’re here to help! If you work with us for your shade repairs, we will charge you our repair costs plus the shipping costs from our manufacturing facility in Vermont.
At SymphonyShades.com, we put a large emphasis on sustainability. The more shades that we can fix and save the less waste that will make its way to a landfill.
If you placed your order but forgot to select that you wanted sidetracks, let us know! We will set up a Service Request for you to have your shade retrofitted for tracks.
Sidetrack Retrofit Charge:
$78 for the sidetracks + $65/hour labor + shipping both ways
If the cost to repair your shade is more than ½ the cost to replace your shade. This is typically dependent on your age. We also do not repair shades that are 10 years of age or older.
Before you ask for us to repair your shade, make sure that your shade is from the Symphony line from Comfortex. We cannot repair shades from Levelor, Graber or Bali. While we can repair most Symphony Shades, we do reserve the right to refuse a shade if it hasn’t been manufactured at our facility, if it’s deemed unrepairable or has broken or discontinued parts. For health and safety purposes, we do not work on shades that are experiencing black mold. Our company is not liable for shades that are lost in shipping and that become damaged.
Please include all hardware and internal components when you send in your shade for repair. If a shade is received dissasembled and/or with missing parts, the warranty is nullified and we must charge the repair cost.
