Beautiful, elegant and pleasing to the eye; our Comfortex products are durable and have been built to last for decades. If you’re going to have a shade that’s going to last this long, it’s important that it’s cleaned on a regular basis. Our non-woven fabrics are anti-static and automatically repel dust. To keep these shades looking fresh and clean in your home, we encourage you to vacuum or dust them occasionally.
These fabrics can be vacuumed with a soft brush or dusted with a soft clean cloth. For getting rid of spills and stains use a sponge or cloth and blot them gently. Larger stains may need to be soaked in water and soap. If you decide to completely submerge your shades, always remove them from the window before doing so.
Like light filtering fabrics, blackout fabrics can be vacuumed with a soft brush or dusted with a soft clean cloth. If you want to spot clean, use a cloth or sponge that’s dipped into water with dish detergent, and then lightly dab the fabric. Do not scrub the surface, we also highly recommend against complete immersion.
Cordless head rails shouldn’t be submerged into water. If they are damp, be sure to lay them out to dry, or you can raise them in window and keep them tight.
